The always offensive Sarah Silverman hosted the MTV Movie Awards last night, June 3rd. I don't know what possessed MTV to hire Silverman to host a show on a channel watched by young teens/preteens. However, I guess they got what they asked for. Her entire monologue was filled with explicit jokes, but one in particular about Paris Hilton stood out:

Letting a person who jokes so inappropriately host a show early in the evening on a popular TV show such as MTV was a huge mistake. Anyone could have tuned in a caught Silverman's jokes. MTV has seemed to be going off of the deep end for quite some time now. The title, Music Television hardly even fits anymore as it should be called Reality Television. I think MTV needs to get their act together big time!
